Floatation Therapy

What is Floatation Therapy?

Don’t expect anything … Just Let Go!

Floatation therapy consists of floating in 10 inches of super-saturated salt solution, with 800llbs of Epsom Salts, creating an environment similar to the Dead Sea which enables you to float effortlessly on the surface. The water is heated to skin temperature, so that it’s virtually impossible to distinguish between parts of the body that are in contact with the water, and those that aren’t, in effect ‘fooling’ the brain into believing that the person is floating in mid-air.

In todays fast moving world, with manufactured technology everywhere, our mental stimulation is at an all time high.

Floatation Therapy reduces stress, chronic pain for 12 – 24 hours, including muscle pain relief. This treatment is often used by world class athletes.

Floatation takes a willingness …

on your part to have an open mind and a desire to create positive change for yourself. Sometimes people need to float a few times before they are able to relax completely, both physically and mentally, to get the full experience of floating.

Depending on your lifestyle, a float might provide an hour of total physical and mental relaxation, or a profound healing experience that can be emotionally and spiritually transforming.

Everyone’s experience is unique and different. Floating can be a wonderful aid to opening doors into your inner world, gradually allowing access to those deeper levels where changes in your life can begin to take place.

Why float?

Present philosophy of floatation therapy or True R.E.S.T. is to offer people the possibility of one more way of regaining aspects of health, physical, emotional or psychological.

There are many schools of thought at the present time in medicine and psychotherapy that are oriented to teach people how to master their bodies and minds in order to achieve a state of deep relaxation.

The advantage of floatation therapy using a floatation POD is that it enables most individuals to experience very deep levels of relaxation from the very early stages of the 1st therapy session.

It has the advantage of the patient not needing to learn any special technique to trigger the relaxation response.

You’ll feel better after an hour.
